At face value, media is neutral—it is neither good nor bad. However, it is well documented that electronic media is a very powerful influence on the American Culture. Radio, TV, music, cell phones and internet outlets such as YouTube, Facebook and blogs have become check-in points for Christians and non-Christians alike. The vast array of choices is having an impact on our daily lives, and is moving our western society from being solely consumers to the dual role of consumer-producer. We aren’t watching “stuff”; we are making it in our blogs, tweets, emails, and scratchy home videos.
